Jib’s diverse and unique cultural and design background is what makes him one of the most sought after, internationally - recognized illustrators and designers today.

Having grown up in the mountains of New Hampshire, Jib has been snowboarding for 21 years, reaching the Pro level at the age of 18. After majoring in a Bachelor of Fine in Graphic Design at Plymouth State University, Jib landed at Burton Snowboards where he designed and managed all outerwear, streetwear and accessory products.

After his tenure at Burton, Jib has been commissioned to illustrate the advertising campaigns for brands such as Mini Cooper, Miller Lite, Citibank, Camel, Axe Body spray, Nissan, General Motors, VH1, Johnnie Walker, Taco Bell, and American Express where his illustrations were seen all over the world.

Combining his passion for sports with interest in youth culture and music, Jib has decided to realize his creative vision and apply his design aesthetic to a brand of his own when he created his eponymous line of lifestyle sportswear in Spring of 2008.

Appealing to a broad demographic, the Jib Hunt collection incorporates the designer’s signature graphics inspired by popular culture and a sense of environment while allowing for individual expression. “One of the main goals was not to turn my customers into walking billboards, but rather showcase my authentic artwork and illustrations on the apparel, while allowing the customers to be individuals”.

Today, Jib Hunt is one of the top “Lifestyle” sportswear brands on the market sold at major retailers such as Urban Outfitters, CCS, Karmaloop, Pulse, Blades, Against all Odds, and Man Alive.

Jib has kept his finger on the pulse of today’s youth culture, art and style. His graphic illustration style embodies his sense of environment and culture, and his emphasis on having fun in life. He works and resides in New York City.
